Meet The CHefs

Lucia Davis

Chef

Lucia’s extensive background enables her to put together recipes and classes that are informative, creative, and lots of fun. Always passionate about food and cooking, Lucia’s career began as a clinical nutritionist. She then pursued a degree in culinary arts at Walnut Hill College in Philadelphia, where she returned years later as an adjunct professor of culinary arts, teaching and developing community education classes.

You may have seen some of Lucia’s creations on networks including The Travel Channel, Food Network, PBS, and QVC, where she worked behind the scenes as a food stylist, preparing the fabulous food seen on camera for celebrity chefs like Emeril Lagasse and Lidia Bastianich.

Whether you are a novice or an experienced cook, Lucia’s classes are a true learning experience, enjoyed in the relaxed, informal atmosphere of your own home with friends and family.

Paul Wyman

Chef

Paul has spent his entire career in the food service industry, beginning as a child with his mother and her well-thumbed copy of Julia Child’s Mastering the Art of French Cooking.  In high school and college, he worked his way through the restaurant ranks starting as a busboy, then on to a cook and finally a chef.  After college he honed his skills working with several European Executive Chefs.

During his career, Paul owned and managed a restaurant in Bala Cynwyd; he moved on to the executive ranks with several of the leading global food service companies.

Paul has won more than 20 awards from the American Culinary Federation in culinary competitions, including nine gold medals. In his free time he enjoys traveling, gardening, cooking and, of course, eating!
